Slow Brew was the first product I designed for Fred. Tea infusers have historically sold well for Fred, so it seemed obvious to expand the collection, and incorporate the popular motif of a sloth with a name that encompasses both the product and it's function. Slow Brew quickly became a top selling item, and eventually became the second top selling item in the line.

In late 2017, I assisted in developing Fred and Friends new design standard for packaging. Slow Brew had the redesign applied to its package in 2018.

This series of metal party cups was inspired by the classic SOLO cup - a popular motif amongst young adults. I wanted to find a way to keep the party going as an adult, while still keeping the charm of the classic cup.

I started with a cocktail that is known for the vessel its served in, the Moscow Mule. Copper was, and still is, a popular material. For me, this was the perfect pairing of young and old, classic and trendy.

The Copper Party Cup became a top selling item for Fred & Friends, and has been sold at major retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, and the Museum of Modern Art.

I then proposed that Fred add to the best selling item by adding iridescent an gold finishes to the line up.

Fancy Plants is a collection of three complete-the-image designs for air plant planters. When the plant is place inside the planter it turns into either an erupting volcano, a cozy campfire, or a surfacing whale.

I designed both campfire and volcano.

Earaser is a reference to when Vincent Van Gogh famously cut off his ear. Legend has it that he placed the severed ear in a box then dropped it off to a brothel. Whether that is true or not, it made for a fun package and countertop display unit.

Fresh Popcorn is a set of 12 deliciously cute popcorn-shaped erasers. I was tasked with engineering and designing a countertop display unit that would be eye-catching and nostalgic with the golden age of cinema.

The Daily Mood is one of Fred’s longest running products. The packaging was outdated and needed a refresh. I choose to make the package all inclusive. This is the first Fred package that prominently features a person of color on the front of the box.

Each canvas pillow is filled with balsam fir from Maine, and screen printed with a bold message or graphic. I wanted like consumer to be enveloped with a sense of modern nostalgia by mixing contemporary and classic design elements.

This collection was crafted and curated for Izola's first line of candles. The scents were specially chosen to evoke a sense of maturity and refinement. Each candle is poured into an eight-ounce recycled, colored glass container that has an apothecary-inspired label, wrapped in custom tissue paper, and packed in a black printed kraft box.

While working at Aesthetic Movement, I designed the chapbook for poet Ann Stephenson’s Adventure Club. These small-batch poetry books were locally screen printed in New York City.

While working at Aesthetic Movement, our design team was asked to pitch rug designs for the 2012 election year. I chose to create and in-your-face graphic inspired by the polarizing politics of the Obama-Romney election. The design was a success, and I still have people inquiring how they can get their hands on one!

Hasbro’s redesign of the classic clue was meant to appeal to a teenage demographic. By adding a second option for gameplay, players could either investigate the classic mansion, or explore the new boardwalk. While adhering to Hasbro’s tight branding guidelines I was able to organize key art in an inviting while, while also assisting in designing the cards, score sheets, and instructions.

I was approached by unreal to design marketing materials for their candy bars and bagged candies. I worked within their design perimeters while still being able to add an eye-catching use of color.

This poster was designed for The Steel Yard's third annual Fire Camp, a metal-working event held in Providence, Rhode Island. The client wanted a rough and industrial aesthetic. The posters were screen printed and promoted throughout the city.

This was one of a series of posters designed for the independent thriller, The Surrogate Mary. The film is about a woman who wakes up on a Hamptons beach in fugue state, all assumptions about her identity are thrown into doubt in this psychological thriller starring Alex Auder and Gaby Hoffmann.
